Yasser Abdelgawad is a video and film editor with an architectural background and a deep passion for cinema, storytelling, and visual arts. He blends narrative craft with a strong visual sensibility to create distinctive, engaging screen experiences.
He began his editing career as an assistant editor on the internationally acclaimed feature “Goodbye Julia,” which received over 50 awards including accolades at Cannes and the Chicago International Film Festival. With experience across short films, documentaries, music videos, and fashion films, he has also worked in post-production on TV commercials for major brands and gained on-set experience as an Assistant Director. Currently transitioning into directing, Yasser continues to pursue original visual storytelling as a writer, co-editor, and editor.
