Developed AI models for wire detection in manufacturing using Detectron2 and SAM 2. Designed and implemented a full training/testing GUI for Detectron2-based wire inspection models. Built post-processing logic for wire center point extraction and line smoothing in SAM 2 output. Trained custom Faster R-CNN models with rotated bounding boxes to improve detection alignment. Converted SAM models to ONNX format for C++ integration and industrial deployment. Continuously validated annotations and tuned model parameters to achieve optimal model performance.
