Hi, I’m Yuxuan Liu. Born in Guangyuan, China, I’m a composer and sound artist based in Los Angeles. I create music for film, television, games, live performances, and contemporary concert music, with a focus on emotional depth, narrative clarity, and rich sonic textures. I have contributed original scores to a wide range of visual media projects and have earned international recognition and multiple awards.
I am passionate about storytelling through sound. Recent highlights include Poems of Forgotten Love being selected for NACUSA 2025 and its related works receiving nominations and premieres around the world, as well as the world premiere of Sigh for Spring’s Farewell with the Manila Symphony Orchestra. I continue to explore how music can deepen emotion, reinforce narrative, and invite audiences into new sonic landscapes across genres.
