    paper 100 Years of Movies Brand

    100 Years of Movies is an annual film series put on by the Mahaiwe in collaboration with a local film director, spanning several months. I came up with the idea to develop a logo and branding for the series. I had two goals in mind when in development. The first being to distinguish this curated selection of movies from the rest of the film screenings outside the series, and to elevate its status in the public’s eye. The unique challenge of this project lay in working with the Mahaiwe’s established fonts and brand colors to create a unique look and stood out while remaining cohesive with the larger Mahaiwe brand.

    I created this logo for a recurring stand up comedy night series to be used across marketing materials and on social media.

    The billboard is an annual project done to promote the Mahaiwe’s summer season, the Berkshires busiest time of the year. Rosanne Cash was selected as the face of the billboard, being the largest and most accessible name of the summer program. I used a rich, saturated green palette paired with yellow as an accent. The design was carefully developed to remain bright, visible, and legible in both full sun, overcast conditions, and night time.
