About
I’m AB Barua, a dedicated ESL teacher and media professional. Over the last seven years I’ve taught ESL in Jinhua, China, designing detailed lessons for students aged 4 to 14+. I turn grammar into relatable rules, test mastery with strong phonics, spelling and pronunciation, and I’ve standardised the total physical response approach used at my training center.
In parallel, I’ve built more than five years of experience as a live on-air English news presenter, reporter and writer for Western audiences. I cover politics, sports, arts, entertainment and technology. I’m comfortable with cameras and with video and audio editing software such as Adobe Audition, Avid Media Composer and Edius. My CV is on LinkedIn, and my TV reports are on YouTube.
