Challenge: Jupiter.co’s website presented a cluttered interface with complex information architecture. This made it difficult for potential users to understand their innovative financial services and the benefits they offered. Additionally, the visual identity lacked a strong presence, failing to resonate with their target audience.
My Role: As Senior Product Designer, I led the redesign of Jupiter.co, focusing on creating a smooth user journey and a contemporary aesthetic.
Process:
User Research:
Conducted user interviews and surveys with both tech-savvy individuals and those less familiar with fintech services.
Analyzed website traffic data to understand user entry points and drop-off points.
User Journey Mapping:
Mapped out the ideal user journey, focusing on key steps like account creation, feature exploration, and customer support access.
Identified friction points that hindered user progress and prioritized their solutions.
Information Architecture:
Redesigned the website’s navigation to be intuitive and user-friendly.
Prioritized clear and concise content, breaking down complex financial concepts into easily digestible information.
Visual Design:
Developed a modern and vibrant visual identity that reflected Jupiter’s innovative approach to finance.
Implemented a clean and minimal UI with a focus on usability and user guidance.
Utilized animations and microinteractions to enhance user engagement and guide them through key features.
Results:
Enhanced User Journey: The redesigned website offered a seamless registration process and simplified navigation, resulting in a significant increase in user account signups.
Improved Feature Understanding: Engaging visuals and clear content explanations led to a higher level of user comprehension regarding Jupiter’s features and benefits.
Increased Brand Recognition: The new visual identity established Jupiter as a modern and approachable FinTech company, attracting a wider target audience.
