I am Akhil Gusain, a multi-disciplinary artist from India currently based in St. Gallen, Switzerland(since I'm married here) & Stuttgart, Germany, where I am pursuing an MA in Media, Arts & Design at Merz Akademie. With over a decade of experience in creating moving and still images and curating audio experiences, I have worked on commercial campaigns, events, and music projects while developing a fascination with light, sound, and visual perception. My research explores how light, sound, and vision interact with the physical world to produce artefacts inspired by phenomena such as caustics, cymatics, resonance, interference, and pattern formation.
