    https://www.twine.net/signin A volunteer-run boxing club that has trained generations of local children and, almost by accident, become a community centre at the same time. Now oversubscribed and turning children away, the club was raising funds for a new building. The brief was to make a film that could help raise the money. We leaned into what the club already had. The interior is textured and weathered in a way you can't fake, decades of use have shaped it and the walls hold the place's history more honestly than any voiceover would. We shot on cine lenses and lit to bring out that texture rather than flatten it. The volunteers and the members carry the film; our job was to make sure the room around them looked like the room it is. The club has since reached its fundraising target.…
