Hi, I’m Andrew Lasky, a New York City–based live sound engineer and musician with a passion for helping artists sound their best on stage. I thrive in fast-paced show environments, setting up gear, optimizing monitor and front-of-house mixes, and delivering clear, distortion-free sound for performers and audiences alike. When I’m not on the road or at a venue, I’m writing, recording and producing my own material, and collaborating with others to create compelling live and studio experiences.
I perform as a singer-songwriter with guitar across NYC venues, and I enjoy the collaborative process of arranging sound, shaping performances, and capturing great performances in the studio. My work spans freelance live sound, event support, and music production, always with an emphasis on clear communication, reliability, and a listener-focused approach to sound.
As a musician, I have some music out in the world. Here is my debut EP which was release on February 2, 2024. My role was songwriter, producer, audio engineer, and mixing engineer. I had a guest appearance by Shannon Noël on Bass Guitar for the single off of the EP, Guiding Light.

Coordinated music or sound related evening programs with assistance from second department co-head. Maintained equipment and studio spaces, ensuring cleanliness for all incoming classes. Coordinated staff and camper bands for any needed live sound related evening programs
Supported the administrative requirements of multiple law firms around New York City. Handled the sorting, scanning and delivery of mail; maintain meeting rooms, and other services as needed.
Supported the administrative requirements of this 100+ person, multi office global public relations firm. Maintained inventory of client product and arrange shipment of product to influencers. Handled the sorting and delivery of mail; maintained meeting rooms, and served as backup receptionist. Supported the move of the entire office to two different New York City locations within a two-year period.
