Hi, I’m Alexa Ferr—a Toronto-born, LA-based R&B/Pop artist. I’m a triple threat who started by performing at local singing competitions and training as a dancer, accumulating eight years in jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop and contemporary. I released my first single “Fell” in 2011 via Universal Music Group/Dauman Music, featuring Disney star Matthew “Mdot” Finley, and began collaborating with producers like The Invaders in 2012 to shape my sound. In 2013 I moved to Los Angeles and released my debut EP Lipstick On The Glass, introducing fans to my Rugged Pop vibe. Over the years I evolved from Rugged Pop to Urban Pop, writing and recording with various producers including Th3ory of The Penhouse; co-writing “Hit The Switch” (2016) with Travis Bruce, which later appeared in FLOAT (2019). I also co-wrote Moka Blast’s “Vida Loca” in 2016. I’ve continued to write solo and collaborate with artists worldwide, while expanding into production. My EP With Love was released in May 2024, and I’m pursuing sync placements for TV/film and collaborations with major artists. When I’m not making music, I love reading, working out, cooking and traveling. I’m passionate about giving back to charities focused on children, cancer and domestic violence.
