Hi, I’m Alexandre Matos, an illustrator and visual designer based in Lisbon, Portugal. I work with illustration, graphic design and visual arts, with a strong focus on children’s books, textbooks and literature. I collaborate with clients such as Content Station (UK/Hong Kong), Porto Editora (Portugal), Santillana Group (Richmond Publishing - UK/Spain - and Moderna - Brazil), Folha de São Paulo (Brazil), Macmillan Publishers (USA), Kroton Educacional (Somos Educação and Scipione) and Toyster brinquedos.

As a visual artist, my works are represented by J.B. Goldenberg – art gallery (São Paulo) and Pena Cal Gallery (Salvador). I have participated in several exhibitions in museums, foundations and galleries. Works of art are part of collections in Portugal, Brazil, the Netherlands, France, Germany, USA and Uruguay.
