I grew up on the shores of Lake Geneva, Italian-Swiss by birth, and I turned 21 with a dream to write music for film. My journey took me through German-speaking Switzerland, New York, Norway and Berlin, where I earned a prize in 2016 as part of an international competition by the Berlin Symphony Orchestra. After returning to Zurich, I pursued a second Master’s degree to sharpen my craft, and I eventually set up my studio near Montreux to gather the eclectic instruments I collected along the road.\n\nIn my studio I blend acoustic instruments from different cultures with vintage analog synths, weaving textures and rhythms that stay grounded in melody. I’m inspired by late 19th-century classical-romantic forms and the Italian productions of the 60s–70s, and by composers like Puccini, Reich, Morricone, Guðnadóttir, Martinez, Tobin, and Aphex Twin, as well as the rhythms of Gamelan. I also work from a second electronic studio in Zurich to explore pure electronic textures. Over the past years I’ve regularly composed for SRF, collaborating with directors such as Stefan Jäger, Christian J. Koch, Zijad Ibrahimovic, Wendy Pillonel, Chanelle Eidenbenz and Barbara Peters, and I’ve produced music for Universal, Cézame Music, APL and other independent artists.
