About

Hi, I’m Alex Hickey, a Tampa-based animator and illustrator with a BFA in Studio Art from the University of South Florida. I blend traditional drawing with digital techniques to tell engaging stories through illustration and 2D animation. I’ve collaborated on campus murals, magazine spreads, and freelance projects for Twitch/YouTube creators, always chasing vibrant visuals and strong storytelling.

I love working with teams and tight deadlines, and I’m comfortable wearing multiple hats—from concept art and layout to final polish in After Effects and Harmony. I’m excited to bring energy and craft to new projects in media, education, and entertainment.
