Hi, I'm Alexis Timms—a UX researcher and designer blending nine years of engineering know-how with three years of human-centered design. I hold a Master of Science in User Experience and specialize in translating complex mixed-methods research (interviews, usability studies, and prototyping) into clear, actionable insights that drive product strategy and deliver measurable business impact. My work spans industry-leading teams at GTRI and Rockwell Collins, where I led end-to-end UX processes, built research plans, and collaborated with engineers and operators to deliver user-centric solutions. I love turning data into intuitive interfaces and am always excited to turn challenging problems into practical, impactful products. My favorite thing about user research is that I get to interact with users, and learn more about who they are and their problems. It makes me feel like a detective in one of my favorite books or cozy mystery games.
