As a freshman, she wrote and directed her first short film, The Encompassing Paths, which follows an insecure college student, Asher, as he seeks guidance from a spiritual figure to overcome his self-doubt. Her senior thesis centered on mental health awareness, tackling critical issues such as suicide, sexual assault, and advocacy.
