I’m Alihan Selçuk, an independent music producer and composer based in Istanbul. Over the past six years, I’ve built a modular multi-identity record label called dyyptons, organized into nine distinct sonic aliases that span IDM, hauntological ambient, electronic hip-hop, glitch, noir rap, ritual maximalism, and sonic archaeology.
I run the end-to-end release process—from composition to mixing and mastering quality control, catalog management, and audio-visual release design. I also maintain a self-built AI-assisted production pipeline (“AS OS”) to keep a 200+ release catalog consistent across sound, visuals, and distribution, and I’m currently expanding into an instructor/producer freelance practice while transforming the dyyptons pipeline through October 2026.

Freelance composition, production, mixing, and sound design work outside my dyyptons alias catalogue and personal-name film/audio projects: session work, remixes, and one-off collaborations across genres and clients.
dyyptons is the multi-alias electronic/ambient collective I run: 9 distinct sonic identities, including OFFTYPE and little cuts on water, spanning ambient, techno, drum & bass, jungle, 2-step, and downtempo across 200+ releases. Each node carries its own genre identity and visual system; I handle writing, production, mixing, and mastering across the whole catalogue.
Work released and commissioned under my own name, separate from my dyyptons alias catalogue: original scoring, sound design, and audio post for film, documentary, and independent media. I work across live instrumentation and sample libraries, moving between atmospheric/ambient scores and sound-designed FX, and handle composition, mixing, and mastering end-to-end.
little cuts on water is my ambient / neoclassical / organica alias, active since 2022 with 4 albums, 3 EPs, and 26 singles released. Slower, textural production work — built around organic instrumentation, tape-style processing, and long-form atmosphere rather than rhythm-first arrangement. Full production, mixing, and mastering.
OFFTYPE is my longest-running production alias, active since 2019, spanning 3 albums, 2 EPs, and 34 singles. It’s where I push the furthest into genre-blending: house & techno, drum & bass, jungle, 2-step, and downtempo, built around unconventional sound design and hybrid arrangement choices. Production, mixing, and mastering all handled end-to-end.
