UX/UI Designer at Shakewell Agency

January 1, 2024 - November 19, 2025

Implemented UX strategies for the Western Sydney University (WSU) student and staff online portal while maintaining the existing design system. Collaborated with WSU & the Sporting Club of Sydney (SCOS) stakeholders to produce better UX solutions that best suit the business and user’s needs. Designed low-fi and hi-fi wireframes using Figma for features including a chat forum and community management for WSU. Conducted usability testing to better understand existing pain points for users and adapted the design strategy accordingly for the SCOS mobile app.

Redesigned the campaign process for the Department of Premier & Cabinet (DPC) by creating online forms and live campaign submissions and approvals to simplify the workflow. Planned and mapped information architecture, implementing user stories and user flows in collaboration with DPC. Conducted multiple rounds of user interviews with users on site at DPC and analysed results to iterate designs. Guided user research and competitor analysis for a new mobile chat app. Directed QA testing for the DPC campaign process and the mobile chat app. Collaborated closely with developers in agile environments to align project goals.
