    paper MCareIQ — Reimagining the EHR Experience for Modern Clinicians

    MCareIQ is a conceptual redesign of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system focused on reducing clinician cognitive load and restoring meaningful patient interactions.

    Healthcare professionals often work under extreme time pressure, navigating fragmented data, excessive documentation, and frequent context switching during patient visits. This project explores how thoughtful UX design and AI-assisted workflows can transform that experience.

    Through user observation, SME interviews, and workflow analysis, I redesigned key EHR moments—visit summary and process notes—into a single, intuitive flow. The solution prioritizes information clarity, minimizes manual data entry, and supports clinicians in making faster, more confident decisions without losing focus on the patient.

    This project demonstrates how UX can directly impact clinical efficiency, data accuracy, and physician well-being.
