I'm a designer/artist/mother living in Seattle, from Colorado, and born in Iowa. I've also lived internationally in London and Berlin. I've loved art and creation for as long as I can remember. I learn by doing and I embrace this aspect of myself because I can quickly adapt. My skills reside in mostly print design doing logos, layouts, reports, business collateral, etc. I have dabbled a bit in online design as well. I know the importance of hierarchy in design as well as my art making. After recieving my BFA I began my career out as a Marketing Assistant/ Graphic Designer. I then did freelance for a Seattle Marketing company and continued to do ad hoc freelance as I moved abroad continuing my education in magazing and publishing design while doing work placements at various companies in fashion including Schon! Magazine and Cosmopolitan Magazine United Kingdom. Shortly after, I became a mother after moving back to Seattle. I continuously kept my hand in graphic design taking on work as it came. Two more babies and I felt it essential to keep designing, drawing, and painting in my life as they gave me a professional purpose and self satisfaction.
