Hello! My name is Anastasia, and I’m an Italian artist with a deep passion for visual storytelling, animation, and illustration. I’ve loved drawing for as long as I can remember, and over the years, that passion has grown into a lifelong commitment to art and storytelling. Movies, especially animated ones, have always been a huge source of inspiration for me. I’ve watched Studio Ghibli’s films countless times, and their work continues to influence my approach to emotion, atmosphere, and storytelling. I’m also a long-time enthusiast of comic books and manga, with a special affinity for the Marvel universe. After completing high school, I studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan and later continued my education at the Rainbow Academy in Rome, where I learned the entire process behind creating 3D animated short films. My curiosity and drive to keep improving led me to Escape Studios in London, where I earned a Master’s degree in Storyboarding and Previsualization, and that’s where I truly found my calling. I’ve also had the opportunity to work as a workshop tutor at the Academy of Arts in London, helping students strengthen their artistic skills, while also participating in some conferences talking about emotions in storytelling. After the pandemic, I took a short career break to focus on my family and my two children, but I never stopped creating. During that time, I worked as a mural artist, which allowed me to stay active, refine my craft, and continue exploring visual composition and storytelling in a different form. Now, I’m fully focused on my storyboarding career, constantly learning new techniques and keeping up with the latest developments in visual storytelling. Art, storytelling, and creativity have always been at the centre of my life, and they continue to guide every step I take as an artist.
