Film scoring has always been a profound passion of mine. Crafting music that enhances a film's emotional depth and intellectual narrative continues to inspire me. After completing the prestigious post-graduate program at the Film Scoring Academy of Europe as a grantee, I began collaborating with international filmmakers, including award-winning directors Gonçalo Almeida, Guilherme Daniel, Rui Sá Macedo, Bruno Carnide and André de Almeida. The short film Atom & Void, directed by Gonçalo Almeida and scored by me, received the Méliès d'Argent award, was nominated for the 2025 Sophia Awards, won “Best Original Score” at Cineuphoria 2024 and was screened at major international festivals such as Fantastic Fest (USA), Sitges (Spain) and Fantasmagoria Medellín (Colombia) — recognitions that affirm my commitment to creating music that resonates deeply with cinematic storytelling. My collaboration with Guilherme Daniel on Canto also earned the “Best Original Music” award at the Planos Film Festival and the “Best Original Soundtrack” award at the 48 Hour Film Project Lisbon for my score for a short film directed by Pedro Caldeira. In addition to these achievements, I was a finalist in the Oticons 2023 (Top 20) and the Berlin International Film Scoring Competition 2023, and I received an honorable mention in the European Recording Orchestra's “Call for Scores” 2022.
