As part of writing choral sheet music arrangements, I write my own performable English translations. This document contains 3 examples: "Bara Bada Bastu" - as perfomed by KAJ at Melodifestivalen and Eurovision Song Contest 2025. (See my published arrangements at https://www.twine.net/signin and https://www.twine.net/signin ) "Convidando Está La Noche" - a Christmas carol in Spanish by Mexican composer Juan García de Zéspedes (see my published arrangement at https://www.twine.net/signin ) "Rano-Ranenko" - as performed by Ukrainian band Go_A. I'm currently seeking permission from the copyright holders to publish my arrangement for choir so there is no published link for this yet. With my experience as a choral singer and conductor, I'm able to write translations that (1) match the rhythmic feel of the music very closely; (2) are natural-sounding, with typical English word stress; and (3) that convey all the important meaning from the original text.
