“Villa Pietra” is an independent house located in the Sardinian hinterland. Designed as a little holiday villa, it offers all the comforts of a house together with the discovery of the beauty of the Sardinian territory. Indeed, the majority of the materials used are typical of the Italian region, such as Orosei marble and granite, terracotta, chestnut wood and black wrought iron. All this is carried throughout the villa, creating a lively and modern open space in the ground floor, which also connects to the exterior closed terrace. On the second floor there are the bedrooms and their respective bathrooms, of which I developed the design of the master bathroom. The connection between the interior and the exterior world is seen in this space as well, which is characterized by a terrace with a pool where to relax and even look at the stars at night while hearing the crackling sound of the fire in the firepit in the middle of the pool.
Not just an appliance, but a product to be displayed, multifunctional and aesthetically pleasing.
It includes a music speaker, a diffuser and a table vacuum cleaner, which can be stack together to form a tower. A charging base is also included, which takes the power through a cable and transmits it by wireless contact to the three parts of the product. Trinidad is available in four different shades, inspired by the earth and carried into our homes. The darkness of the night, the blue of the ocean, the green of the woods and the red of the soil. Every element creates a connection between the exterior natural world and the interior living space.
An underwater drone designed for aquariums, so that the visitors can see the inner part of the aquarium with the eyes of a turtle, thanks to a webcam located in the head of the robot. A fan connected to a motor allows the Mydas to move in the water, which can circulate through the structure by some holes. The tail can change position in order to let the drone change direction of movement and everything is powered by a battery located in a dry compartment together with the motor of the fan. Mydas is made by injection molded recycled plastic.
The Hotel “Cima 11” is located in Pozza di Fassa, Italy and needed a website redesign, which appeared weak, not intuitive, confusing and with an old aesthetic. By researching the hotel policy and philosophy, the territory and activities, we developed the focus of the new website, aiming to reach the tourists’ interest. We carried all this in the new website menu and aesthetic as well.
Two different fonts are used: one without serifs to give a sense of modernity, simplicity, clarity and order; one more fancy to make the titles stand out and to recall the snow of the mountains and perceive the mountain peaks with their angular sides.
The house icon leads you directly to the home page and is made up entirely of angles, to reflect the concept of the website: the roughness of the mountains.
A burger menu is chosen to take up as little space as possible, so as to make all the contents clearly visible, which flows together with the pages. When the menu opens the icon becomes an X to close it.
The burger menu takes up the peaks of the logo.
The hotel’s identity transmitted by the website was also brought to social media, of which an effective alignment was hypothesized.
Paguro is an elegant fusion of organic design and modern technology.
Its light and sinuous structure is reminiscent of sea waves and wind currents, giving a dynamic and relaxing atmosphere to the environment in which it is located. The lamp appears as a light and fluid object, reminiscent of the shape of an elegant seashell, like that of the hermit crab (paguro in Italian).
The lamp was created with a 3D modeling software and then printed by a 3D printer using the addition method.
The translucid material was chosen in order to let the light create a diffusion which also projects the curves of the lamp in the environment, producing a lively wavy effect.
A space for escape and respite from the city and everyday life, where guests can relax and connect with nature. They can visit local vineyards, caves and experience the winemaking process.
This project aims to attract people from all over the world, who seek natural products and a unique and different essence. I focused on locals who come to enjoy a good wine, whether for work or to unwind in a calm and elegant space, discovering the aromas connected to the local wine as well.
In order to do that, on the ground floor I developed a retail space where the hotel’s guests and visitors of the city can purchase scent-based products directly from the structure, such as candles, perfumes, butters, natural soaps and diffusers. While on the first floor there are the hotel rooms, where I made the most of the few square metres by designing an open space that focuses on fuctionality and modularity.
A retail space developed for the italian brand Tacchini.
The project had started by researching deeply the brand and descovering its identity, in order to create a showroom that represents Tacchini at its fullest.
The organic concept has been brought throughout the entire project by using curve lines and natural colors and materials, such as wood and stone. The design is minimal and elegant, so that the focus goes on the products.
More technical plans have been developed as well, such as plumbing, electrical and air conditioning.
Oasi is a coffee shop located in the Natural Science Museum in Rovereto, Italy. The space includes a sitting area where to drink a coffee, eat lunch or even work, and the counter, from which the workers only can accede to a private area. The design is modern and eccentric, characterized by light popping colors, wood and black finishes. Since the coffee shop is located in a museum, I decided to include in the space an exhibition area, so I have designed custom shelves to place at the entrance of the shop, in order to intrigue and attract people to take a look at them and increase interest in the museum.
Lab.House is a place for 11 students where they can live and study together, by sharing common spaces, such as kitchen study hall, living room and winter garden. All the bedrooms are double bedrooms, except for one that is an accessible bedroom for a person with a weelchair. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, characterised by a design inspired to famous designers. The focal point of the project is the study hall, which has personalized tables designed by us. We also developed the identitiy of the student hall with its logo.
