See my work on Behance! _Website not available. Sign in: https://www.twine.net/signup_ I am a BA (Hons) Fine Art graduate and emerging artist, specialised as a painter and illustrator. I am open to and have experience designing book covers and album covers, and many portrait commissions in pencil or paint, available to browse in my portfolio. I am well-versed and aware of current trends and cultures in tattoos, and would happily accept briefs in that field. I particularly enjoy briefs with a particular focus on the 'drawn' look, as opposed to the smooth edges and vectors that have become syonymous with AI-generated design, though the contractor always comes first! I have a passion for research and expansion of knowledge. I wrote an extended thesis in my undergraduate degree on the political potential of traditionally 'bad' art, I researched, studied for and completed chemistry exams for a prospective Master's degree, and I now write a newsletter on Irish art and exhibitions, diving into the meaning of the art, the theoretical frameworks behind it, and the experience of going to the gallery. I am also fascinated by languages, with fluency in English and high proficiency in Romanian and French. I am currently studying Russian. Beyond my art and research work, I have enjoyed holding leadership roles. I am a curator for the LASTA Festival, due to take place in October next year, I acted as the coordinator for my BA (Hons) Fine Art showcase and for our third year exhibtion. I ran student-centred events, for instance as chairperson of the Visual Artists’ Ball. I’m passionate about elevating art programs, and leading a team to deliver engaging, well-organised events that connect with diverse audiences.

September 1, 2021 - June 13, 2025
Educated in drawing, printmaking, textile design, ceramics, painting, and photography. Especially interested in the post-World War II era of art in Europe; Learned to identify gaps in research and literature, engaging with existing art and writing to argue a specific point, with essays ranging from photography centred on Mark Augé's theory of supermodernity and sculpture dealing with national trauma, to food as a universal medium for art, finishing with a 14,000 word thesis on 'bad' 20th-century painting as a strong counter-political tool; Attended artist talks and symposia on painting to deepen my knowledge of the arts sector in practice, and the people working within.
