I am a University of Leeds graduate with a 1st class degree in Film, Photography and Media, bringing hands-on experience across social media management, live sports broadcasting, documentary filmmaking, and photography. My background combines creative storytelling with technical production skills, allowing me to capture compelling visual content across a variety of formats.
With a strong eye for detail and a passion for dynamic visual storytelling, I am now seeking new opportunities to further my career in sports videography and photography.
Whilst working at a bouldering gym as the social media manager, I was also tasked to produce, film, and edit the after movie to the gym’s largest event of the year: The Lab Test 2025
The regional competition attracts GB climbers from all over the UK and is quickly becoming one of Yorkshire’s best competitions on the circuit.
For 12 months I worked as the social media manager for a bouldering gym in Leeds!
I planned, created, edited, and posted engaging content that boosted community engagement and enhanced sales.
Below are a few examples of the types of short form video content I created in this year:
This was a short Documentary created for a 48hr film-making task. We had 2 days to go out, shoot, and edit a short documentary for a university challenge set by our professor. This was the result!
Whilst spending the last year in Leeds and working at a bouldering gym, I was naturally out climbing on my days off. And there’s no better place than Yorkshire crags to shoot an edit!
Climbing outside in the frosty morning, up on the hills, in good company, is one of the best places to be. It’s a calming and almost therapeutic exercise, and one I aimed to encapsulate in this video.
I use my instagram as a portfolio of my film photography. Check it out for some sweet 35mm imagery!
Working full time at a bouldering gym, I created strategic content that aimed to boost sales, engagement, and community. My videography expertise were also used to film in-house training videos and most notably the yearly competition After Movie.
Working within a larger team of camera operators and the marketing team, we distribute a high quality live stream of all the home games throughout the season.
Alongside my studies, I was lucky enough to work with The Northern Imposters, a comedy production company based in Leeds. Offering my services on a voluntary and paid basis, my time with the team was highly beneficial for my development. During my time I learned a great deal about how to operate on a professional set.
