Designed and developed Go-based backend microservices APIs for personalized content discovery and experiences for FOX Sports media streaming platform. Built features for Continue Watching by capturing user touch events, maintaining watch progress state in a separate service/database, and exposing APIs to resume content across devices while handling duplicates, out-of-order, expired and delayed playback events. Developed backend components for Because You Watched and More Like This features including content validation and metadata checks with expiration policies. Implemented event-driven ingestion workflows using AWS SNS/SQS with reliable processing, retries, dead-letter queue recovery, and idempotent updates. Designed a dynamic rule-engine framework for runtime personalization using configurable content containers (sports content) without service redeployments. Implemented Redis-based caching strategies to reduce database load and improve API latency for high-traffic endpoints.

Worked on Atlassian Confluence Data Center to Cloud migration platform, building backend tools in Go to securely migrate customer content, users, permissions, spaces, attachments, and metadata from self-managed deployments to Atlassian Cloud. Owned platform-wide vulnerability management for Data Center products and drove approach for critical and high-severity security issues across Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira and supported plugins. Designed an autonomous AI skill (with rovo/deposit) to analyze vulnerability reports and historical fixes, generate code-level changes, and automatically create review-ready pull requests with supporting analysis, references, dependencies and fix/issue details. Developed approach to identify OAuth 2LO/3LO-aware rate limiting with a configurable token-bucket based throttling framework for fine-grained endpoint/user/client-level traffic control.
