Marianna Aria Bregni

Hi! I’m Marianna (Aria for friends) and I’m a cinematographer based in Rome.

I usually work as camera operator, being really into representing characters’ feelings and behaviour through camera movements, or gaffer, being deeply interested in lighting as well. Having an all-round view of camera and electric departments allows me to consciously know how to properly manage my department and the whole idea of a narrative direction in photography.

I’m a scuba diver passionate in underwater videography, addicted to analogue photography, vintage lenses and cameras, and first of all in seeing new places, meeting people and getting into new communities.
I worked all over Italy, in Hungary, USA and Latin America as well, can’t wait to discover other amazing places and people!
