Hi! I’m Amara Sankhagowit, a dedicated educator with a passion for mathematics and inclusive education. I’ve spent multiple years supporting middle school students in 5th–8th grades, designing engaging lessons and implementing IEP-based supports to help every learner succeed. I love collaborating with families and colleagues to create welcoming, rigorous learning environments where students can build confidence and achieve their goals.

I have an MA in Linguistics (PhD coursework completed) and have done various freelance linguistics work throughout the years.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy mentoring students, leading clubs, and continuously refining my practice through professional development. I’m committed to equity in education and to lifelong learning for my students, families, and myself.
