Hi, I’m Ata Öztürk, a composer and music producer based between Istanbul and Ghent. I work across a wide range of genres—from extreme metal to classical, electronic to folk—driven by a love of sound and storytelling. I have hands-on experience in recording, sound design, and post-production, and I’m currently pursuing a Master of Composition at KASK & Conservatorium.
In addition to composing, I perform as a guitarist and serve as a sound designer and engineer on various projects. I recently wrote and produced most of the soundtrack for a post-metal band, handling recording, mixing, and mastering. I’ve contributed pieces for festivals such as Sesin Yolcuğu Young Composers Festival and Bilgi New Music Festival, and I’m in the recording phase for a late-2026 album project with the post-metal band I’m involved with.

I composed most of the soundtrack, played and recorded it. I did the post-production (it was my first experience). I mixed and mastered everything.
I composed this contemporary classical music piece for Duo Gross & Schouten in 2023 and it was performed in Bilgi New Music Festival 14.

This song was written for my band that is going to debut with an album that also contains this song in late 2026. This is not a final version but its a demo. music
