Hi I am Veljko Zajc, art director and illustrator based in Belgrade, Serbia. In 2008 I graduated in Faculty of Applied Arts, Department of Graphic Design in Belgrade. During the course of my studies I spent 4 months as an intern in a Paris based studio Lamtar, where I worked on projects for British telecom, Marriot Hotels, Hewitt, Elan... In 2009 I joined the Popular Communications creative team, a full service creative agency based in Belgrade. In 2012 Popular Communications becomes part of Bruketa&Zinic OM, the largest independent creative agency in the Balkans, which gave me a chance to work with global clients on various markets. Throughout my studies, and later, along with my full time employment, I never stopped freelancing, because I enjoy the freedom and the variety that comes with it. For 6 consecutive years I shaped the visual identity of Kustendorf, a film and music festival, and took part in many other inspirational projects. Take a look at my portfolio.
