Alex Villafuerte

I’m a seasoned designer and craftsman with over 14 years of experience in the design-build and entertainment industries. My career has taken me from hands-on installation work in stadiums and theaters across the U.S. to leading the design and fabrication of immersive sets, branded experiences, and large-scale scenic elements for some of the biggest names in entertainment and corporate branding.

With a foundation in Architectural Design and 3D Modeling, I specialize in turning creative concepts into buildable realities. I develop highly detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator, ensuring seamless translation from digital visualization to physical execution. My work spans everything from custom set pieces for live events and film productions to interactive installations for global brands like Google, Netflix, and Amazon.

Beyond technical expertise, I bring a deep understanding of materials, fabrication techniques, and on-site problem-solving, having worked alongside master builders and production teams to bring ambitious projects to life. Whether it’s refining a design for optimal efficiency or troubleshooting challenges during fabrication, I thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments where creativity and precision go hand in hand.

I am currently open to commissions and freelance opportunities. If you’re looking for a designer who understands both the creative vision and the realities of production, let’s connect.
