Jakob Straub

I’m an experienced story coach, professional developmental editor, and premium ghostwriter. Writers and authors hire me to shape their manuscripts into compelling stories, or to tell their stories for them as a ghostwriter. As a developmental editor and story coach, my specialties are character development and story structure. I work with clients to improve their writing and get their manuscripts ready for publication.

As an author and ghostwriter, I bring my own experience and a wide range of skills to my services as developmental editor and story coach. I help writers transform their concepts into captivating, well-structured narratives ready for publication or adaptation.

My expertise lies in character development and story structure, where I provide guidance on refining plot arcs, deepening character complexity, and enhancing emotional impact so the work resonates with its intended audience.

Working across formats such as novel manuscripts, TV/film scripts, and serialized fiction, I am able to tailor my approach to the needs of my clients. I’ve had the opportunity to work with bestselling authors, and am experienced in striking a balance between enhancing the story the writer wants to tell, and reaching the narrative’s full potential to make a lasting impact in the market.
