I am a singer-songwriter, poet and performer, originally from Cardiff in Wales where I was given the title Bard of Ely by Big Issue Cymru magazine in which I had a column. Highlights of my career include Glastonbury and Green Man festivals, and being featured on Britain's Got Talent. I have collaborated in writing songs, and in 2024 did so with New York's Stephen Friedland, aka Brute Force. He wrote the words and I came up with the music for a song for peace titled "We Can Sing Together." I have an album produced by Jayce Lewis, and with the title Songs of the Now and Then. I have also worked as a copywriter, as a columnist, and am the author of five books published by Moon Books.

paper Singing My Song Acapella in Lisbon

In this video I was filmed singing my song “Where Does All The Plastic Go?” acapella in a square in Lisbon.

paper "Where Does All The Plastic Go?" is a protest song about plastic pollution

“Where Does All The Plastic Go?” is a song from my album Songs of the Now and Then. I wrote it as a protest against plastic pollution and the song has received a lot of media coverage. It was produced by Jayce Lewis and a music video showing me performing the song was made for it by Filipe Rafael in Portugal.

paper It's Time To Save The Bees

“It´s Time To Save The Bees” is a new original song with lyrics by Jeanne L. Thompson of The Peace Train, and I came up with the tune and recorded a video on my computer. The song has been written for DJ and space rocker Mick Magic and his daughter Twizz, and another version is going to be included in his forthcoming Nine Backward show in the months ahead.

paper "We Can Sing Together" is a song for peace

In 2024 I came up with the music for lyrics written by New York’s Stephen Friedland, who is also known as Brute Force. He was once on The Beatles’ Apple Records with a song of his titled “King of Fuh.”
Our song for peace was a transatlantic collaboration because, while Brute Force was living in the US, I was living in Portugal, which is where I got the song produced and recorded by Ricardo Verdelho, who also created the music video.
