Bela Pierce is a multi-instrumentalist/producer with an ability to combine powerful lyricism and catchy pop melodies. Releasing music for 4+ years, she has since amassed hundreds & thousands of streams. She was selected for part in ASCAP’s writer workshop in 2021 and has been featured on blogs such as ‘Early Rising’ & ‘Lyrical Lemonade.’
From Lakeland, Florida, I began my career in Worship Music. I attended Southeastern University with a scholarship as lead of the Worship team on campus. We were soon signed to Capitol CMG and received notoriety in the CCM genre. I, along with a few of my friends, learned how to give worship music a pop edge and stand out against other traditional music in that genre. During this time, I had my first successful release called “Better," which has amassed over 1 million streams on SEU Worship’s streaming. During the pandemic, I moved to LA to pursue my personal artist and writing career full time. Since then, I have written with up and coming artists including BabyJake, Jon Santana, Bailey Baum, Kevin Quinn and many others. I have also independently released 4 singles and a 2 song EP, which have landed on several editorial playlists (Fresh Finds: Rock, Young and Free, Morning Coffee, NMF). I specialize in Pop and Alternative writing, but also have experience in R&B/trap pop/ top line writing as well. I recently was just a recipient of Salt Lick Incubator’s rising artist grant (founded by Roger Brown, previous president of Berklee School of Music), which I used to create my most recent and first debut EP, ‘Velvet Wings.’ Producers on this project included, SameSame, grammy-award wining duo who created ‘Feel It Still’ x Portugal the Man. I look forward to collaborating with you!
