Music for cozy, melancolic, sci-fi video games, cinematic and epic soundtracks. Bulgarian singer, choir voices. I am a Bulgarian singer, songwriter, composer and producer based in Barcelona. My background in music started singing at 10 in two Bulgarian schools' choirs. My family and I moved to Spain when I was 12, age at which I also began writing songs for fun for my friends. At 20, I base-self-taught guitar learning mainly from Simple Plan, The Click Five and Metallica's songs, and later inspired by blues-rock from 60's & 70's. At 22, I immersed as a soprano in modern, classical and camera choirs in Murcia, South-eastern Spain. At 25, I co-founded Djazzling Creatures, a jazz-fusion project, as a singer and co-writer for 3 years long. Later, separated my solo project as Beni Önica, my alter ego. My first song as a solo singer-songwriter was called "Sin Ti" (Without You) and was performed live at 23 in a local gig in Murcia, Spain. I wrote music in 4 languages, being English the leading one (Cold & Sleepy Night), Spanish (Bienvenido a La Vida - Welcome to Life), French (L'orage - The Storm) and Bulgarian (Nova Era - New Era). After more than 10 years of music compositions for a song format, I was feeling there was something else I had for a mission. I used my singing, guitar, bass and synth skills to layer into the creation of soundscapes, so my music won't be for singing anymore. Now I was telling full stories through instrumental music. My first DAW was Garage Band, and for years I felt comfortable there, also had worked with Cubase and Sibelius. Nowadays, I use ProTools, as I got a Master's Degree to obtain the core of music production for film and video games, my specialty. My next goal is to work into video game music production and sound design, both synthesis and foley are a fascination of mine! Have an idea? Let's sit and take an e-coffee! I also do collaborative and supportive projects, if your budget is lower. Feel free to chat!
