Led the migration of a legacy .NET Framework 4.8 MVC application and its dependent Windows Services to .NET 8 LTS. Performed porting analysis to identify migration blockers, updated/replaced external libraries and NuGet packages for compatibility, and updated database access to Entity Framework. Refactored Windows Service functionality into either background tasks within the application or a separate microservice, including inter-process communication design. Containerized the modernized application with Docker for Linux deployment, created a Dockerfile, and used Docker Compose for multi-service orchestration. Developed deployment scripts and implemented a basic suite of unit and integration tests; produced comprehensive documentation for architecture, deployment, and maintenance. Collaborated with the team to ensure smooth migration and long-term maintainability.

Led agile transformation and debt reduction; reduced the technical debt backlog from approximately two years to around three months by introducing Agile practices, daily standups, and improved governance. Implemented rigorous documentation and code reviews using Confluence, with clear commit messaging and SQL change tracking in Git. Streamlined bug and feature requests via a ticketing system and Jira for project management. Built and managed a team of eight senior developers, bridging communication gaps between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proposed modernization and scalability strategies to future-proof the system, and fostered a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
