I’m Billie Lambert-Stockman and I’m a film and video editor working in Sydney. I graduated with a BCA in Screen Production from Flinders University. I started my career working as an editor at Channel 7 News Adelaide. There, I learnt to work with producers and journalists to create meaningful stories through editing. Then I started working as the in-house editor at Stepney Studios where I edited corporate videos, TVC's with agencies like Showpony and Kwpx, documentaries, social media ads and all manner of website and YouTube videos. There, I also learnt how to colour grade and sound design for corporate video. I also edit short films in whatever spare time I have and my team from SA came 3rd Place Best Film Worldwide for the 48hr Film Challenge last year in Seattle. This then saw our film go to the Marché du Film's Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival in 2025. Last year I was a contracted feature film assistant editor at KOJO. Over the years, I've worked across a range of formats including Digital, Super 8, 16mm and 35mm. I’ve also been lucky enough to be a part of some interesting projects including assistant editing for the SAFC-supported Documentary film Marungka Tjalatjunu (Dipped in Black). The film has gone on to be seen at many prestigious film festivals world-wide. I have also worked in TV in larger teams of editors. I am currently finishing up an edit assit job at ITV Studios, Sydney where I've been working on shows like Love Island, Alone and The Voice. About me as a corporate video editor: I specialise in editing branded content with a strong narrative focus, particularly interviews. I have a strong familiarity with in-office and remote project management work and efficient asset delivery workflows. I am comfortable working with fast-paced, social-first formats that call for punchy transitions, text overlays, and a solid sense of rhythm and brand cohesion. I handle professional colour grading too, and deliver content across various formats for social and digital use. I work closely with creative teams, manage post timelines and feedback efficiently, and always ensure consistency with brand and individual visual style.
