B Kelley is an award-winning trans/non-binary filmmaker. Their most successful short film, THE REAL THING, secured ten awards, including seven for Best Short Film. It screened in theaters across 56+ festivals on 5 continents. B received the Best Director award from the New England Film Festival. The film, which has resonated widely, has accumulated over 35 million views across TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms to date.
In addition to their narrative work, B has directed commercial, documentary, and corporate content as well. Their clients range from Yale University to pet food brands, and everything in between. B was also one of the early directors in the VR space, directing for VISA, Louis Vuitton, RBC, and more.
Beyond their achievements as a director, B has multiple top 10 finishes in esteemed competitions such as the Atlanta Film Festival and a finalist in the ISA Emerging Screenwriters Competition. They’ve also been a finalist,
semi-finalist, or quarterfinalist at Austin Film Festival, Final Draft Big Break, ScreenCraft, Richmond International Film Festival, Page Awards, and more.
