Light and Still is a compact residential project in Indonesia, inspired by the Japandi style that combines minimalist form with warmth and intimacy. At its core lies a small central courtyard, designed as a communal space and giving each room a private connection to nature. Sheer fabrics diffuse natural light and fill the interiors with softness. To maximize the space, open layouts were created to fulfill the space needs and create a visual connection.
This project reimagines The Body Shop as an inclusive wellness journey, shaped by the intersection of ADHD and people of color located at Chadstone Shopping Center. Guided by a Beauty Cycle Program, the design weaves sensory-friendly experiences, cultural resonance, and emotional empowerment into every stage of the natural ingredient lifecycle.
Soft Disruptions is an exhibition exploring how textile manipulation can reshape space through distortion and transformation. It creates forms that suggest new ways of experiencing space. Through several fabric trials, the work explores contrasts between softness and boldness, as well as rigid and flexible materials. These experiments create rich textures and highlight layering, distortion, and spontaneity, encouraging new ways to push the boundaries of material expression.
Leaking Boundaries explores the idea of leakiness as both a spatial and cultural condition. The project reimagines the Richmond Power Station as a porous framework where light, air, sound, and collective memory flow through layers that mediate between heritage, community, and nature. Rather than containing its industrial past, the design allows it to seep into the present — transforming heaviness into lightness, and structure into dialogue. Through reused and living materials, the intervention celebrates the existing fabric while introducing sustainable gestures that extend the building’s legacy through a renewed and timeless design.
