    Drowning in October is a raw and introspective indie rock track that delves into the depths of depression, exploring the solitary journey of facing one’s challenges alone. With its atmospheric soundscape and emotionally charged lyrics, it offers a poignant exploration of the human experience.

    As a prelude to the upcoming release of my next single in August and the full project, Orange Hill, in early September, this song provides a glimpse into the honest and vulnerable storytelling that lies at the heart of my music.

    This project was one of the first opportunities I had to executive produce. Nessy and I worked on this project for a little over a year. I was involved in the production, mixing, and mastering(of instrumentals), songwriting structure, and overall project curation. A highlight was getting one of the tracks ‘Numb’ co-produced by Mxcharia onto Spotify playlists on the release radar playlist on its debut.

    paper Becoming Something by Kay Khali

    While writing and performance were primarily done by the artist(Kay Khali), myself, and my frequent collaborator/co-producer FK Beats helped executive produce the EP through curating, music production, recording, mixing, and mastering. Another key feature I played in the team was using my piano performance skills in songs like Taurus Baby, Sunken Place, and post-production on Molly and Hindsight.
