Teacher, pianist and composer. Born in Torres Vedras, he studied at renowned schools with national and international teachers/musicians (with emphasis on Eurico Carrapatoso, Rui Paiva and João Paulo Esteves da Silva), in particular at the Escola de Música do Conservatório Nacional and Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa, graduating in Musical Training (2005) and Jazz (Piano) (2014). Throughout his training in the field of jazz, he had the pleasure of learning through classes and workshops with Aurelian Lino, João Maurílio, João Falcato, Antoine Hérve, Pedro Moreira, José Menezes, Mário Laginha. He was a teacher at Escola de Música do Conservatório Nacional for 9 years and has worked since 2008 at the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa teaching degrees in Choral Conducting - Musical Training and Community Music. He extends his pedagogical activity through the creation of songs and projects for children, also collaborating in cultural promotion and dissemination programs. He actively participates as a pianist in different projects, having collaborated with several singers/musicians (Carlos do Carmo, Luís Represas, Ricardo Ribeiro, Rão Kyao, Jorge Palma, Carminho, Cuca Roseta, Sara Tavares, Selma Uamusse, Vitorino, Janita Salomé, Paulo Flores, Ivan Lins, MARO, Marito Marques, Manuel d' Oliveira, Carles Benavent, Jorge Pardo, Cícero Lee, Gonçalo Sousa, João Frade, among others), choirs, jazz formations, world music, big bands. Since 2019, he has been conductor of Orquestra Todos, an intercultural orchestra that brings together musicians from all over the world living in Lisbon. He develops an intense activity as a composer and arranger, having written in the last decade numerous original works of classical music and arrangements for ensembles of various formations such as Orquestra Geração, Sinfonietta de Lisboa, Coro Ricercare, Camerata Atlântica, Orquestra de Câmara de Cascais e Oeiras, Academia de Música de Santa Cecília, Escola Artística de Música do Conservatório Nacional, Orquestra de Guimarães, Orquestra Clássica do Centro.
