    paper Water In My Ears

    Water In My Ears is a personal and illustrated book project that explores my experiences growing up hard of hearing and how that shaped my perspective as a designer. Through hand-drawn illustrations, storytelling, and thoughtful design, the project sheds light on the daily frustrations, funny quirks, and resilience that come with hearing loss. It was built to connect with children, parents, and educators navigating similar experiences, while reframing hearing loss as a strength rather than a limitation.

    Designed in line with my Cait Studio brand, the book combines traditional illustration (pen and paper, digitally refined in Adobe Illustrator) with modern layout and prototyping tools like Figma. The project not only serves as a deeply personal narrative but also as a resource aimed at awareness, empathy, and inclusivity in education and beyond.
