After months in the editing suite (and three years of national coverage), I’m thrilled to share the release of this new EWTN News special: “America’s National Eucharistic Revival: The True Presence of Christ”.
As producer and editor, I had the responsibility of shaping a story that is both historic and deeply personal for so many. Built from over 50 hours of raw footage recorded over three years (plus archival material to help tell the full story), this one-hour documentary required a careful balance of storytelling, structure, and massive media organization.
The use of natural sound and real-life moments helped preserve the reverence of the journey without scripted narration. We relied heavily on graphics and maps to guide viewers through four simultaneous pilgrimage routes across the country. I handled color correction, audio mixing, and editorial for both English and non-English interviews (Spanish + Italian).
This was a team effort all the way. Huge thanks to Executive Producer Holly Shannon, our reporters, videographers, field producers, and design team. Projects like this remind me of the unique privilege it is to work on content that serves both storytelling and emotional impact.
