Telling stories of how we interact with each other and the world is a great way to spend my days. I specialize in cutting long form documentaries & series. I’ve edited films on mysterious lives and suspicious deaths, on artists, adventure and self-discovery, on the fight for MAiD in Canada, and on how to make a living. Recent projects include No Way to Die, The Enigma of Harold Sonny Ladoo, The Long Weekend, She Walks with Apes, The Third Dive, and series Equator: A New World View and Coldwater Cowboys. My personal interests have influenced my choice of projects. I love nature and science, and have cut many films focusing on animals and our environment (Manufacturing the Wild, Meet the CoyWolf, Puffin Patrol, Carpe Diem, Raccoon Nation and others). I’ve edited award-winning documentary series (Spaceship Earth, The National Parks Project, Things That Move), short films (Ghost Bike, Record, Sea in the Blood) and low budget features. My work has been featured by broadcasters (CBC The Nature of Things, CBC POV, CBC Passionate Eye, Discovery, Arte, PBS) and film festivals internationally and in Canada (Hot Docs, TIFF).
