I’m Cassiano Prado, a Brazilian-British screenwriter and director for film and television, focused on suspense and fantasy genre storytelling. I recently wrote and directed for Netflix’s INVISIBLE CITY (Season 2), a supernatural thriller that ranked among the world’s top ten most-watched non-English series, and I directed TALES OF EDGAR for Fox, a contemporary horror adaptation set in the underworld of São Paulo. My short film IDA screened at international festivals such as Screamfest, Atlanta Horror Film Festival, and Abertoir Horror Film Festival. I trained at NFTS in the UK and Serial Eyes in Berlin, and I’m continually expanding my practice through fellowships and labs. I’m currently training as a Jungian psychoanalyst in Brazil, exploring how unseen forces shape human experience and influence character-driven genre storytelling.
