My name is Cassidy Nicole Cannon, I am 21 years old and a recent graduate of Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. Originally from Glen Burnie MD, my journey begins back in high school when I was chosen to be a part of the first cohort in my school to participate in a program with the local community college, called ECAP (Early College Access Program). Beginning in 9th grade, the goal was to give students the opportunity to complete their Associates Degree at the same time as their High School Diploma. We were placed in AP courses and they brought college professors to our school to teach us classes. In the end I managed to finish my Associates Degree in Transfer Studies: Visual Arts a whole semester before I completed my senior year. I am ready to work and willing to learn. Any skill that I may be lacking as of right now, I am more than willing to learn on the go. I am intimately familiar with obstacles and hardships and have often had to navigate changing situations and unusual circumstances to make it here today.
