I’m Catherine Loerke, a narrative storyteller who blends science, romance, and humor for film, TV, and audio. I’m the sole writer of Fox’s Meet Cute six-episode narrative podcast, a medical rom-com launching in May 2026 as a companion to the hit series Best Medicine.
Beyond writing, I help filmmakers and creators shape structure, character arcs, and storytelling through freelance script and story consulting for projects with Hulu, Tristar, Peacock, and Appian Way. My journey spans a medical background (MD from Yale, surgery residency) and academic training (BA from Stanford in English, MFA in Screenwriting from Brooklyn College Feirstein) and a history of developing and shepherding projects in rooms, development, and production.
