Creative, insightful, passionate, and teachable. I am a student at heart, and take this fervor for learning with me everywhere I go. Attended the School of Communication at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Received a BS in Communication with concentrated studies in advertising and public relations and MA in Communication with concentrated studies in health communication and media effects. Additional certifications include Nurse Aid through Clarkson College. Previous work experience includes volunteer content creation for RISE, Omaha Sister Cities Association, and the 712 Initiative. Internship work in social media and communication with Vala's Pumpkin Patch (2021), Social Media Manager for The Beanery (2022), and creative writing instructor with Culxr House (2023). Teaching experience includes teaching a total of seven sections of JMC 1500 (Introduction to Journalism and Media Communication) as a graduate assistant and one section as Instructor of Record.
