During my time at university studying Journalism with Public Relations, I consistently chose to spotlight marginalised and underrepresented voices, from investigative reporting on homelessness to community-focused coverage during the cost-of-living crisis. I’ve developed strong storytelling, design, and digital media skills through modules I completed, and I’ve learned to translate complex topics into engaging content. Outside of university, I completed a 16-week music business course with Manchester-based label This Is NQ, gaining hands-on experience in artist management, event planning, and industry networking. I’ve worked at Nando’s since 2021, progressing to Buddy Trainer and Staff Representative, which has strengthened my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills through mentoring, feedback sessions, and team-building initiatives.
