Interactive Display

The Classic Film Hall of Fame opened at the Rheem Theatre on March 2014. I worked with the museum director on creating the interactive exhibits and developing the software. Examining the vast number of video display options, I discovered that PC tablets are nicely equipped for this type of installation because they have touch sensitive interactive technology built into their framework, their design is highly compact, and they have the same ruggedness built right into in their construction as commercial-grade systems.

I converted the tablets into a dedicated device that will operate only as a secure touch screen display. The average cost of a tablet is less than one third the cost of similarly powered commercial-grade system and they have the same ruggedness built right into in their construction.
